Since the operational change in November 2025, the team at Mink Chocolates has been working tirelessly to integrate all aspects of the business and stabilize operations for the future.

An important part of this transition involves the legacy Valutec gift card system. Unfortunately, this process has not been as smooth or straightforward as we had originally hoped. There are multiple operational, technical, and legal steps involved in properly integrating the historical gift card data into our current systems.

At present, none of our Mink locations have the ability to directly validate or process the legacy Valutec gift cards. We are actively working with the provider to fully integrate all historical card balances and customer information into our current point-of-sale system.

Once this integration is complete, legacy gift cards will once again be fully usable at all Mink Chocolates locations.

Our current goal is to complete this transition before the end of May 2026.

Most importantly, we want to reassure our valued customers that all valid legacy gift cards will absolutely be honoured. We remain fully committed to continuing to work diligently until this matter is fully resolved.
